Interior Painting, Wood Finishing & Carpentry
We can make old wood look like new with our use of varnishes and polyurethane.
We do striped interiors and although it costs more, the striping gives a beautiful finish to an otherwise bland wall.
Visitation church in Elmhurst woodwork and pews stripped of dark brown finish and stained a light tan with final 3 coats of polyurethane varnish. Work done in 1991. Pews and woodwork in perfect shape after 23 years of use mostly a result of the polyurethane finish. Because the work on the pews was done almost 23 years ago, the benefit of using 3 cots of polyurethane can be seen by examining the near perfect finish of the pews now.
This is an example of the finish carpentry we do with tiger birch (beautiful when stained correctly) we built and installed the beveled glass cabinet and the TV cabinet below. We also made the stained glass window in picture 1. We then stained and finished the woodwork to match the existing casing on the house.
